Entry requirements

The ULMS continues to welcome applications that fulfil our admissions criteria in order to select a balanced international student cohort. As students from different countries tend to apply at different points in the application period, applications from some countries may close earlier in the year. In these cases we will aim to provide a 3-week notice period to the affected country, prior to any programme closure.

A first degree from an approved university or a UK 2:1 or international equivalent for students with Bachelor’s degrees in Finance, Accounting and Economics. Exceptional candidates with first class degrees in other subjects (with a significant component of finance) will be considered. Students who lack the usual academic qualifications but have appropriate professional qualifications (with good grades) will be considered individually on merit. Grades in modules relevant to Finance must average 2:1 (particular emphasis will be placed on final-year finance modules).

International qualifications

Applications from international students are welcomed. Country specific information on entry requirements is listed on our website: www.liverpool.ac.uk/international/countries/index.htm. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines.

English language qualifications

All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language and are required to provide evidence of this. Qualifications accepted by the University can be found on our International webpages. Please see www.liverpool.ac.uk/international for English Language requirements specific to your country.
