Eligibility criteria

International students on Year 1 (undergraduate programmes) and postgraduate students on one year master’s programmes, who have applied to the University directly if you pay your tuition fee in full before the 15th July 2018, with the funds clearing in the University of Liverpool account no later than 31 July 2018. This award is only available to international students who join the university directly, not through a joint venture recruitment partnership (for example: Liverpool International College, XJTLU, Law Transfer arrangements in Malaysia etc) as other discount and scholarship packages are in place with students who join the University through these partnership routes. Students who are sponsored via a third party (e.g. their government, university or commercial organisation etc) are also not eligible for the 5% reduction because institutional discounts are normally negotiated directly with the sponsor.

This discount will be applied to your fee after any other relevant scholarships or awards have been deducted.

The 5% deduction will be issued as a refund in the Second Semester, so if a student eligible for this discount joins the University in September 2018, they can expect a payment to the value of the 5% fee reduction (after all other reductions have been applied) to be credited to their bank account from January 2019 onwards.
