Consumer research/Critical Studies in Consumption: Risky and Unchartered consumption practices

Description

This project would examine changes in consumption practices, cognition and resources as new technologies in transportation (driverless cars, drones, space travel) continue to develop rapidly.  They already look set to dominate the marketing landscapes in, and for, decades to come, offering marketing and consumption researches new opportunities to probe their implications for theory, policy and practice.  PhD applicants are encouraged to investigate novel questions and methods that align with these topics.
