New international students on non-clinical programmes achieving the equivalent of AAA in UK A level exams or equivalents (see website for equivalents).


Please kindly note, if you are an offer holder from one of the University’s partner colleges (BAC, HELP, INTI, Advanced Tertiary College & Taylors) on the Law or Business Transfer programme in Malaysia, there is a separate non-tiered scholarship available, which will have been communicated to you via your counselling team, and is detailed below.

£3,000 fee reduction for first year of study.

University of Liverpool First Class Scholarship *

International students on non-clinical programmes who achieve and maintain a First class average (70%)

£1,000 tuition fee reduction for each subsequent year of study if a First class average is maintained.

Brickfields, HELP, INTI & Taylor's - Year 2 entry - achieve 55% overall with no module below 50%
Brickfields, HELP, INTI & Taylor's - Year 3 entry -
achieve 62% overall with no module below 58%

£2,500 flat rate fee reduction for first year of study. No application necessary, automatically awarded to those who meet the criteria. Award confirmed to successful candidates by email.

Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship – Malaysian Business Transfer Partner * HELP Foundation in Arts / HELP Diploma in Business / HELP Bachelor of Business - Year 1 entry - Successful completion of all modules with a minimum 65% / GPA 3.0
HELP Foundation in Arts / HELP Diploma in Business / HELP Bachelor of Business - Year 2 entry
- Successful completion of all modules with a minimum 70% / GPA 3.25

£2,500 flat rate fee reduction for first year of study. No application necessary, automatically awarded to those who meet the criteria. Award confirmed to successful candidates by email.

Malaysian Law Transfer Partnership Bursary * Available to Brickfields/HELP/Advanced Tertiary College & Taylors students progressing to Law programmes at the University of Liverpool.

£1000 fee reduction for the first year of study.

No application necessary, automatically applied to eligible candidates.

Sport Liverpool Scholarships Talented athletes competing at national/regional levels. 

Up to £2,000 to support performance. Application necessary.

University of Liverpool International College (UoLIC) Excellence Scholarship * Highest achieving UoLIC Foundation Certificate programme students progressing onto a non-clinical degree.

UoLIC students achieving the highest attainment (75% and above) across the Foundation in Business, Law and Social Sciences programmes (a minimum of six awards available), and the Foundation Certificate in Science and Engineering programmes (a minimum of six awards available) will receive a £5,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of study. A maximum of 15 awards are available across both Foundation Certificate programmes.

No application necessary, automatically awarded to those who meet the criteria.

University of Liverpool International College (UoLIC) First Class Scholarship* Students progressing from the Foundation Certificate at the University of Liverpool International College who go on to achieve a 70%+ average in any year of study (excluding final year) of their University of Liverpool degree programme.

£1,000 fee deduction will be awarded in each academic year subsequent to the achievement of 70%+ at the University of Liverpool.

No application is necessary, automatically awarded to those who meet the criteria.

University of Liverpool International College (UoLIC) Impact Progression Scholarships UoLIC Progressing students (UG and PGT) in receipt of Kaplan Impact Scholarship. Preference to Sustainability and Women in STEM.

£3,000 deducted from first year tuition fees.

Competitive scholarships for offer holders from Hong Kong SAR.

The University of Liverpool Graduate Association Hong Kong, and Tung Foundation, undergraduate scholarships are worth £10,000. Scholarships are awarded to students originating from Hong Kong only who can prove academic excellence.

Liverpool Law School Hong Kong Scholarships

Three scholarships for full-time students from Hong Kong awarded on merit.

£1,000 towards tuition fees. 

No application necessary, students are automatically assessed.

LLB Scholarships and Travel awards

Exclusive to Brickfield/INTI, HELP & Taylors students progressing to Law programmes at the University of Liverpool.

Definitions

International student 

Your eligibility for international scholarships is decided by your fee status. Any student who pays tuition fees at the international or overseas rate is eligible to be considered for our international scholarships.

Clinical programmes

For 2022-23, these are:

  • A201 Dental Surgery (Graduate Entry)   
  • A100 Medicine 
  • A101 Medicine (Graduate Entry) 
  • D100 Veterinary Science
