The University of Liverpool welcomes applications from Jordanian students for all study levels. Please see below information to learn more about your options.

Please note that admissions criteria may vary depending on the course you have applied for and that the grades published on this website provide general guidance only.

Entry requirements

Students who have followed the national curriculum (Tawjihi), are advised to complete the Foundation Certificate at Liverpool International College or an equivalent foundation programme.

A-levels, International Baccalaureate, SATs

Students offering A-levels, the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 28 points or SATs can apply for direct entry to year one of undergraduate programmes. Students who can offer a good GPA after completing the first year of an undergraduate programme at a Japanese univeristy are also welcome to apply.

Postgraduate Taught

Academic Jordanian students holding a Bachelor degree can apply for Masters programmes. For most programmes we will be looking for a GPA of at least 3/4 or equivalent. For a percentage grade, we would require 75% overall.

Postgraduate Research

Each application is assessed on its own merits, however students will usually be expected to hold both a Bachelors and a Masters degree. Previous exposure to research or thesis writing is highly desirable.

Preparation programmes

Liverpool International College offers Foundation and Pre-Master's courses to international students who don't meet the university's minimum entry requirements. Find out more on the college's website
