Liu (XJTLU student)
Ambassador for China
The best thing about studying at the University of Liverpool is the friendliness of everyone and my kind teachers. They are all enthusiastic and respond to my questions including replying quickly to questions on the Discussion Board on our Virtual Learning Environment which solves any questions I didn’t get to ask them face-to-face. Talking to them has helped me decide the specific area I want to work in.
I enjoy communication with others and even though I’ve only been here for a short time my listening and speaking skills have improved a lot and these skills are essential for co-operation and teamwork. Volunteering for opportunities such as being an ambassador helps me to improve my skills. I enjoy studying in the library and reading English books which are not easily accessible in Asia. I also enjoy the gym here with all the great equipment as I like to stay in shape.
