University of Liverpool Partner Schools Scholarships
The University of Liverpool is delighted to invite international applicants to apply for a prestigious £10,000 scholarship. This competitive opportunity is offered exclusively to students from a selection of the University’s valued partner schools.
The scholarship is available for one year only and will be deducted from your first-year fees.
Please note, this scholarship can’t be combined with any other scholarships offered by the University. Students who are eligible for the Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduates may still apply for the Partner Schools Scholarship but can only receive one scholarship award. This award has no exchangeable cash value.
Eligibility criteria
Students who meet the below criteria are invited to complete the application form below to be considered for the scholarship:
- Be studying at one of the University’s selected partner schools
- Have applied to start a new undergraduate degree at our Liverpool campus in academic year 2026/27*, excluding clinical programmes in Medicine or Dental Surgery
- Be liable to pay full tuition fees at the international rate
- Be self-funded
- Have completed the application form.
*If you've applied to a degree course but have not yet received an offer, you're welcome to apply for the Partner Schools scholarship. Please note, a decision won't be made on your scholarship application unless and until you receive an offer to study with us.
We won't be able to offer you this scholarship if:
- You're studying Dental Surgery BDS
- You're studying Medicine and Surgery MBChB
- You're studying online
- Your fees are being paid on your behalf by a sponsor, such as government, commercial organisation or employer.
How to apply
Please complete all sections of the application form.
The application form has four sections:
- Your personal and contact details and information on your University of Liverpool application
- The second section contains questions that allow you to share why you should be considered for a Partner Schools scholarship
- You'll be asked to upload a written reference from your school counsellor or a teacher in support of your application. The reference can also be emailed directly from your counsellor/teacher to the University
- You'll be asked to provide a short video of yourself to support your application. Guidance is provided in the application form.
Deadlines and selection process
The deadline to submit the application form and video is midnight on 17 May 2026. The University reserves the right to close the application form earlier than this date if the maximum capacity has been reached. Early applications are therefore advised.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of University staff using a scoring matrix to select the final candidates.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the University by the end of May 2026. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis so the earlier you apply the earlier you will receive a decision on your application.
Scholarship terms and conditions and acceptance details will be provided by email, with successful candidates required to accept the scholarship offer and choose the University of Liverpool as their Firm choice in UCAS by the reply deadline in their UCAS Hub.
