Located in the geographical centre of Denmark, Aarhus is the second largest city in Denmark. Aarhus has a population of 335,684 and is at the cultural and economic core of the region. The city is well known for its musical herigate - in the fifties it was home to a booming Jazz scene and since the sixties has been known as the centre of Denmark's rock music scene.
