I am current University of Liverpool student thinking of applying for a Global Opportunity, what happens if one or more of my module marks do not meet the academic average required for my programme?

I am current University of Liverpool student thinking of applying for a Semester Abroad, what about accommodation in Liverpool?

The accommodation you apply for here in Liverpool is completely your choice, you can apply for private accommodation but please be aware that most landlords do not offer semester only contracts. We have put in place an agreement with the Accommodation Office at the University of Liverpool that students applying for a semester abroad can apply for a room on campus in the study abroad village and if successful will be able to have a semester only contract. To do this you should apply for a room in Dover Court, once we have completed the allocations if you have been successful in securing a semester abroad place we will let the Accommodation Team know and they will swap your accommodation offer from Dover Court to the Study Abroad village for the semester you will be in Liverpool. All you need to do is accept your accommodation offer. Please note the rooms in Dover Court are allocated on a first come first served basis so you should apply as soon as possible to ensure you secure your place.

I am current University of Liverpool student thinking of applying for a Year Abroad, what about accommodation in Liverpool?

Allocations for all programmes are done in March, we understand that students may want to organise accommodation before this time. If you are thinking about applying for the year abroad you can apply for a room on campus as a backup if you do not manage to secure a place on the year abroad programme. To do this you should apply for a room in Dover Court, please note that places in Dover Court are allocated on a first come first served basis. If you are successful in getting a place on the Year Abroad programme then we will let the accommodation team know that you no longer require the room in Dover Court and your contract will be cancelled. Please note if you want to secure accommodation privately this is allowed but we recommend you check with the landlord you can cancel the contract or sublet your room if you are successful in getting a place on the year abroad.

Please note for Medicine students we will liaise with your department in order to get your academic marks to allow for all students to receive their outcomes at the same time
