Summer Research projects 4-12 weeks International exchange students Research projects are available in a range of subject areas where you can gain research experience and transferrable credit for your home university.
International Summer School 3-6 weeks Erasmus+, International Exchange and Visiting students Spend a summer in Liverpool studying modules from one of our exciting "pathways" and take advantage of the fun activities on offer. Modules are eligible for credit transfer. Students from partner institutions get a 10% tuition fee.

Erasmus+ students:

Students coming on exchange from our European partners fall under the Erasmus+ scheme. Erasmus+ is an EU funding initiative that gives students the opportunity to study at a partner university within the EU and EEA whilst receiving a grant to help cover some living expenses; you will not pay tuition fees to us. As an Erasmus+ student you will be awarded credit for your studies and a transcript of your grades will be sent to your home university for credit transfer.

Exchange students:

Exchange students come from universities outside of the EU where we have an exchange partnership. You will be selected by your home university to study with us for either a semester or a full academic year. Exchange students do not pay any tuition fees to the University of Liverpool; you pay tuition to your home university only. You will be awarded credit for your studies and a transcript of your grades will be sent to your home university for credit transfer. International Exchange students are often eligible to receive scholarships from their home university of state funding; ask your home university Study Abroad office for more details.

Visiting students:

Visiting students come from universities where we do not an exchange partnership. You can come to study with us for either a semester or a full academic year. You will pay tuition fees to the University of Liverpool for the duration of your stay. You will be awarded credit for your studies and a transcript of your grades will be sent to your home university for credit transfer.
