Quarantine costs

Costs for new and returning students arriving in the UK from red list countries

New Students (started September 2021 onwards)

The University of Liverpool will pay for the £2,285 hotel quarantine cost for each new, self-financing student travelling from a home address in a red-list country. This cost includes the mandatory COVID-19 tests you are required to take after arriving in the UK and food for the duration of your stay in managed hotel quarantine. This will be paid through a tuition fee reduction following registration. Please ensure you retain a copy of your quarantine package receipt. For eligibility and further information see our document Red-list financial quarantine support 2021.

Students should complete this Quarantine Reimbursement form to process their tuition fee reduction.

Please note, this is not available to students travelling to the UK from a non-red-list country via a red-list country or any returning students.
