Money Advice and Guidance can offer short-term loans from the University Hardship Fund if your maintenance loan is delayed and if you have no other means of financial support. Loans can also be offered in some other exceptional circumstances. Loans are interest free and a repayment date will be arranged for when your maintenance loan is received. Guild of Students emergency loans
The guild can offer short-term (four weeks) emergency loans of £25 for students in immediate hardship. This money can be used for food and other essential items. Contact guildadvice@liv.ac.uk for more information.
Extend your overdraft
Try asking your bank if it is possible to extend your overdraft limit on a temporary basis.
