Non-Medical Helper Support
Disability Advice and Guidance will assist students to access non-medical helper support at the University of Liverpool.
The system operates on several levels:
- To provide a first point of contact for disabled students who require study assistant support
- To provide a system whereby study assistants and students can be matched according to their support needs
- To aid communication between students and service providers of non-medical helpers.
Non-medical helper support roles include Specialist Mentors, Note Takers, Practical Support assistants, Sighted Guides, Library Assistants and Study Skills Tuition.
