SilverCloud Health - Space from Depression
This programme will help you to learn techniques to overcome and manage the symptoms of low mood and depression. Practical strategies help you to tackle unhelpful thoughts and behaviours and the unpleasant physical feelings and sometimes difficult emotions associated with depression. You can learn about:
- Tuning into mood
- Spotting thoughts/distorted thinking
- Boosting behaviour - motivation, activity levels
- Challenging negative thoughts
- Balanced core beliefs
Space from Depression consists of eight modules, complete these in your own time and at your own pace over approximately eight weeks. Each module contains text, video and audio clips as well as interactive and engaging activities that will help you to manage undesirable symptoms and regain control.

Do you need medical or mental health help now?
If you do then it is crucial that you contact the right person and that is most likely to be your GP. They will know where to get you the specialist help you need.
If your GP surgery is closed, their answerphone will direct you to the right place or you can call NHS 111. Use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it is not a life threatening situation.
