Big White Wall
Big White Wall (BWW) is an award winning online service designed to help people get support, take control and feel better. It provides 24/7 peer and professional support (with trained counsellors online at all times), plus a range of wellbeing tools to help people to self-manage their mental wellbeing.
University of Liverpool students going through a tough time can now access free online support with Big White Wall. Whether you’re struggling to sleep, feeling low, stressed or not coping, Big White Wall can help you get support, take control and feel better.
The service provides 24/7 online peer and professional support, with trained counsellors. Big White Wall provides a safe space online to get things off your chest, explore your feelings and learn how to improve and self-manage your mental health and wellbeing.
Big White Wall is totally anonymous, so no one will know you’ve chosen to use it unless you tell them.
More than three quarters of members feel better as a result of using the service and nearly 90% use Big White Wall outside of 9-5pm. You can get support on the service at any time of the day or night, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

1. Go to www.bigwhitewall.com and click on JOIN NOW. This takes you to a new screen –
2. Select the Organisation option in the middle and select Universities from the drop-down menu
3. Complete sign-in box by entering your University email address. You then will be asked to create an anonymous username for your account.
Your subscription to BWW lasts 6 months from date you sign up. If your access is about to end or has already lapsed you can renew your subscription by emailing the BWW team: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note the online therapy option isn't available to students at the University unless you choose to pay for yourself.
