The University of Liverpool has been delivering swimming lessons in Liverpool City Centre for over 10 years and has seen thousands of children and adults develop their swimming ability through our programmes.
We excel in providing a positive learning environment, aiming to make swimming fun and enjoyable at the same time building confidence and competence in the water.
Learn to swim
Our swim school works in partnership with the Amateur Swimming Association in delivering the nationally recognised British Gas ASA Learn to Swim Pathway. Lessons delivered in this way use fun and games to take children from their first splash to full competence in the pool and will ultimately help them develop confidence in and around water.
Your child can start our beginners class from 4 years of age.
All of our lessons are lead by ASA level 2 or 3 qualified teachers and all of our assistants are at least ASA level 1 qualified so we guarantee your children are in the best hands!
We also offer adult lessons for complete beginners through to advanced levels.
View our timetable to see what lesson suits you best.
We do not have a waiting list so you can start immediately!
Payment can be made at the Sports and Fitness Centre reception prior to the term starting. If you join mid term, you will be required to pay a pro-rata fee depending on how many lessons are left until the end of that term.
