Taekwondo

Taekwon-Do is one of the most popular martial arts in the world.  It combines combat and self-defence techniques with sport and exercise. There is an emphasis on high kicking and fast hand techniques thrown from a mobile stance. Taekwon-Do is popular with people of both genders and all ages. Our club practices GTF Taekwon-Do.

The guiding principle of Taekwon-Do is that the practitioner should not attack, unless first confronted by an attack.

The Taekwon-Do Philosophy can be summed up by the 5 tenets of Tae Kwon Do:

  • Courtesy
