Gymnastics is a great way to improve strength, flexibility, agility, coordination and balance. This makes it a great foundation for other sporting disciplines, from Trampolining to Martial Arts. The club is open to members of all abilities aged 18 and over.
We train at the Park Road centre which is a world class gymnastics facility. Liverpool’s infamous Beth Tweddle trained here until her retirement from the sport just last year, and many members of the Olympic Women’s Artistic team continue to use these brilliant facilities.
The University of Liverpool Gymnastics Club was founded in 2011, and has been constantly improving and expanding since. We are looking to make the club’s fifth year bigger and better than ever before!
The club welcomes those of all abilities, from absolute beginner to elite. We have competitions on offer for all abilities, last year attending the Birmingham and Nottingham University competitions, and the national BUCS Championships. The club also boasts an active social side, attending every AU night, the Winter Ball and the Annual Awards dinner, alongside hosting our own charity pub quiz, bowling trip, summer BBQ.
So, whether you are looking to socialise and meet new people, or train, compete and win medals, the club has something to offer everybody with a love of gymnastics and a passion for fun!
