Sport Liverpool is totally committed to providing students, staff and members of the local communities with excellent sports facilities and services. To help ensure we make year-on-year improvements, we constantly review what we do and actively seek feedback from our customers.

Accordingly, Sports Hall 1 was completely refurbished in January 2014 and a new junkers sprung wooden floor has since been installed in 2019.

In addition, Sports Hall 2 was completely replaced in December 2013 with a traditional top of the range, beechwood - sprung floor. This installation provides optimum shock absorption and ball-bounce across the entire floor surface.

Refurbishment and replacement of these sports surfaces, has helped enhance the quality of training sessions and the sports played. These include netball, basketball, handball, volleyball, football, futsal and badminton, while providing a better all-round experience for customers attending other class activities such as Zumba and Circuit Training etc.
