This theme focuses on area profiles (geodemographics) and change in neighbourhoods. Geodemographics are categorical measures of city structure that organise small areas into groupings of salient population and built environment characteristics.
Geodemographics have a rich history in Liverpool with some of the earliest work being developed in the city. Geodemographics are used in a very wide range of applications in both the commercial and public sectors related to both product and service targeting.
