Research Interests
Over the years, I have developed a consistent interest in the sociology of health and illness as well as 'deviant bodies'. My specific areas of interest are: sociology of substance use including both legal and illegal drugs; gender; sociology of the new genetics; new reproductive technologies; depression and mental health and autoethnography.
