Targeting, Legal Reasoning and the Use of Force in Armed Conflict

(under supervision of Dr Michael Mair) starts his 1+3 CASE studentship funded by the NWSSDTP (North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership) on 'Law in War: Targeting, Legal Reasoning and the Use of Force in Armed Conflict' in collaboration with Article 36. As part of this project, Alex will be attending the Humanitarian Disarmament Forum in New York, on the margins of the UN General Assembly’s First Committee, with Nobel Peace Prize winner Elizabeth Minor of Article 36, in order to participate in discussions on the problem of armed drones and to produce critical and impactful commentary on the subject.
