Yayun Wang started her PhD study in January 2016. She studied her undergraduate Bachelor of Management in mainland China (2008-2012) and Master of Arts in Social Policy in Hong Kong (2012-2013). She then worked as a research assistant in an educational evaluation association in mainland China, which is responsible for doing assessment on quality of local education system (2014-2015).


Yayun's research interests lie in the area of gender issues in education. Her PhD research will investigate the process of reproduction of gender stereotypes in Chinese high schools.
