Eve graduated from the National University of Singapore with a BA in Communications and New Media. She worked in graphic design and advertising before completing her MA in Design Communications in Kingston University in London. After the completion of her MA, Eve returned to Singapore as a teaching assistant in her alma mater. She is currently a GTA/PGR in the University of Liverpool in Singapore.


Eve started her PhD studentship in 2018. She is focused on looking at compassion as a tool in Social Policy. Her current research area revolves around the critique of capitalism and inequality, but she has a varied background in research and has been interested in Media and Consumerism, Race and Gender, and Narrative Storytelling.

She is studying part time alongside her teaching duties as a GTA.
