Kathryn Barnes

Kathryn gained her veterinary nursing qualification in 2006 while working in a small animal and equine practice in east Yorkshire. She then relocated to Chester in 2008 where she worked in a referral hospital for 5 and a half years gaining experience in a variety of disciplines. She gained her A1 assessor qualification and went on to complete the Royal College advanced veterinary nursing diploma in small animals. She then completed the BSc in clinical veterinary nursing, and was subsequently appointed team leader of the medicine and wards department.

In June 2013 Kathryn joined the small animal teaching hospital as part of the Patient Care team.
