Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund

The University of Liverpool is taking a strategic approach to engaging with the UK Government's Industrial Strategy through the associated Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF).

The Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) for research and innovation, delivered by UKRI, tackles the biggest challenges that society and industries face today. The University of Liverpool has the research expertise and outstanding facilities to help engender this scientific, economic and social development and increase productivity in the UK and the wider world. We have a strong track record of collaborating with industrial partners to transform ideas into creative solutions. Our Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are just one of the ways we deliver impact through collaboration.

Informed by industry, these challenges are designed to harness areas of expertise in which the UK is already a knowledge leader. Our world-leading research and innovation aligns with the Industrial Strategy themes, and with assets such as Sensor City, Materials Innovation Factory, Virtual Engineering Centre and CEIDR, we are well-placed to help realise the Strategy’s aim of transforming our future.
