Liverpool Advanced Methods for Big Data Analytics (LAMBDA) Research Centre is hosting a workshop on Monday 29 June 2026, which will bring together leading academics, policymakers, and industry experts to examine how AI is transforming the UK economy and society.
There will be a particular focus on inequality, skills, jobs, wages, regional disparities, and access to digital infrastructure. The event is designed to bridge academic evidence and policy discussion, helping to identify practical implications for UK policy and decision-making.
Keynote speakers include AI for Life frontier co-lead Professor Simeon Yates.
The workshop is free to attend and open to the public. More information and the registration link can be found here.
