Having graduated in 2014 from Liverpool in Economics he moved onto further study in Physics before completing his masters in 2018. His masters project focused on machine learning to improve detection of particle decays on simulated data from the ATLAS experiment looking for an extended Higgs sector.
Steve joins the QUASAR Group to focus on the improvement of antimatter stability in traps and electrostatic transfer lines found in the AD-ELENA experiment , as well as enhancement of antimatter detection techniques currently employed.
Steven has now left the QUASAR Group.
