Background

David Pavel Juárez López started his physics career at Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas (Mexico). He got his master’s degree with a thesis entitled ‘Beam Position Monitor and Energy Analysis at the Fermilab Accelerator Science and Technology Facility’, that was done in collaboration with Fermilab at Batavia, Illinois (USA) and the University of Guanajuato (Mexico). The work consisted on performing measurements of the beam position and doing an energy error analysis through the BPM’s

In October 2016, Pavel joined the Quasar group and University of Liverpool as doctoral student. His is working on ‘Characterisation of the longitudinal and transverse energy distribution of electrons emitted from the photocathodes using TESS and the VELA/CLARA accelerator’.
