Dr Jenny Bowe D.Clin Psy

Personal Statement

Dr Jenny Bowe is a Senior Clinical Tutor at the University of Liverpool. She is a Clinical Academic on the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (D.Clin), within the Department of Primary Care and Mental Health. Jenny is a registered Clinical Psychologist and is registered with the HCPC. She is a qualified Cognitive Analytic Therapist (CAT) and Supervisor and leads on the CAT competencies within the Liverpool D.Clin. Within the NHS, she specialised in the field of Eating Disorders and Weight Management in people with severe and enduring mental health problems. She is the Clinical Lead for adult mental health placements for first year doctoral students and within teaching provides an understanding of how early relationship difficulties and functioning can lead to mental distress in adults.

Her particular research interests include CAT therapy with people from Ethnic Minority Backgrounds and Eating Disorders.
