Personal Statement

I am a member of the Department of Primary Care and Mental Health within the Institute of Population Health
I am the Institute Director for Postgraduate Research and an Honorary Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
My primary research has focused on establishing and improving psychological interventions for people experiencing mental health difficulties.

I would be pleased to hear from potential PhD students who are interested in conducting research in the following areas;

1) Adult Mental Health such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Depression.
2) Physical health and comorbid mental health issues.
3) Psycho-oncology.
