Personal Statement

I lead the Addiction research group within the Department of Psychological Sciences. I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology (Swansea University, 1997) followed by a D. Phil in Experimental Psychology (University of Sussex, 2001) before taking a postdoc position at the University of Southampton (2001-2004). I joined the University of Liverpool in 2004, initially as Lecturer before being promoted to Professor in 2012.
