Personal Statement

I am a member of the Addiction research group within the Department of Psychological Sciences. I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology (University of Sheffield, 1998) an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology (University of Reading, 1999) followed by a PhD in Psychology (University of Sheffield, 2002). I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Leeds (2002-2003) before joining Sheffield Hallam University as a Lecturer in 2003. I took a position as Lecturer at Aston University in 2004 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2012. I joined the University of Liverpool as a Senior Lecturer in Psychology in January 2018.
