The Dynamics of Nationalist Evolution in Contemporary Spain

Funded by the Economic and Social Research Council of the UK, this project examined the evolution of pro-sovereignty parties in Catalonia and the Basque Country and had a wider European comparative dimension that has since led to a further project on secessionist movements in Europe, in collaboration with Niklas Bremberg. The Alternative Left in Barcelona

A project looking at radical municipalist politics in Barcelona since the election of Ada Colau and Barcelona en Comú in 2015, set both both in the specific context of city politics and in the wider frame of Catalan politics.
