About the event

June 2018 marks the twentieth anniversary of the first elections to Northern Ireland’s power-sharing institutions established as part of the historic Good Friday Agreement.

The Europe in the World Centre, in conjunction with Department of Politics, marks this opportune moment to critically reflect upon the outworking of devolution since 1998 and, particularly given the current political stalemate, to consider the future prospects for devolution in the region with a one-day conference.
