BSc(Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy
Training designed to stretch you…
Our 3-year undergraduate programme will give you the theoretical and practical training you need to qualify as a skilled (and highly employable) Physiotherapist.
It's a challenging course, but with the personalised tuition and support we'll give you, you'll be in great shape to succeed.
From the middle of your second year your study will be organised around a series of 10-12 week placements within our established local network of NHS hosts.
These placements are carefully planned to give you first-hand experience of the different healthcare settings, patient groups and specialisms that feature in Physiotherapy.
The specialisms you’ll learn are musculo-skeletal, neurological rehabilitation and cardio-respiratory, whilst the settings you’ll experience include acute hospital, community, adult rehabilitation, paediatrics, palliative care and GP clinics.
Flexibility is the key
Everybody has his or her own preferred learning methods. We’re able to vary our teaching to reflect your style - and we'll help you develop the lifelong learning skills you'll need as a professional.
There are opportunities to study part of your course overseas, as an exchange student under the ERASMUS scheme.
