FISH Meets Healthcare Hackathon

The FISH Meets Healthcare Hackathon will be an opportunity for physicists, psychologist, medics, engineers, chemists and computer scientists to come together and form groups to solve healthcare related problems.

Whether you are physicist or psychologist, medic or musician, you are welcome at the Faculties Innovative Student's Hub.

Maybe you have an existing idea that could improve lives, or maybe you would like to tackle some of our healthcare related problems!

Join us for our event at Sensor City on March 4th, where we will present problems identified by partners, including Alder Hey children’s hospital.

Why you should join us?

This is a great opportunity meet people from different backgrounds, to find common interests and to develop incredible skills which can help you set your future career path. All whilst solving exciting real-world probens. You will gain help and support throughout the event in creating solutions.. But you lead the process!

Funding will be available to support the development of selected projects.

I liked how so many students from different disciplines attended the event. I worked slightly outside my comfort zone but I definitely embraced the opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed communicating with so many hard working people.
