Nikos Gkogkas delivered three sessions on 'Philosophy for Every Day' as part of 'Feel Good February'.

Clare Mac Cumhaill and Rachael Wiseman’s Metaphysical Animals has been shortlisted for het NBCC award for Biography. Along with Clare, Rachael was at the Alnwick Story Fest this month.

Vid Simoniti will be attempting philosophical art criticism on 1 April at the Institute of Philosophy / Senate House. Free registration.

PhD researcher Lauren Stephens will be joining Open Eye Gallery as Philosopher in Residence for the year of 2023.

 

Forthcoming Events

The Phil Soc Philosophy Showcase will take place 2-5pm, 8 March with Prof Jennifer Saul as special guest speaker, talks and posters from final year and masters students, refreshments and prizes. Free tickets here.

Former PhD researcher, Dr Rachel Handley, will be doing a book launch at Blackwells on Monday 6 March, for her collection Possible Worlds and Other Stories. Rachel’s short story "The Sound" was recently longlisted for the BSFA Best Short Fiction Award.
