The Panpsycast

An 'informal and informative' philosophy podcast inspiring and supporting students, teachers, academics and free-thinkers worldwide, The Panpsycast is the creation of Philosophy graduate Jack Symes, alongside co-hosts Olly Marley and Andrew Horton.

Having studied at the University of Liverpool between 2011 and 2014, Jack returned to complete his MA in Philosophy in 2017 focusing on a breadth of topics from Kant’s political philosophy to Wittgenstein and animal consciousness.

Jack says of the podcast “The focus of The Panpsycast is to make good philosophy enjoyable and accessible, which is something that the philosophy department at the University of Liverpool cultivates in their students”.

From discussions on Kant’s Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals to interviews with subject experts such as Prof A. C. Grayling, the show really has something to offer everybody. Philosopher and University of Liverpool academic Dr. Daniel Hill believes The Panpsycast "provides the perfect combination of philosophy and banter".

The Panpsycast now boasts over 35,000 weekly listeners, 50 five-star reviews, and has achieved numerous Top 10 spots on the iTunes International Education Podcast Chart.
