All research students undertaking a PhD, MPhil, MD or DDSC are required to maintain an online record of their research progress in their formal meetings with their supervision.
Research students are expected to maintain a record of their professional development during their research degree.
Two tools are provided for this purpose in the PGR Toolbox, a tabbed area in Liverpool Life that is accessible only to PGRs (MPhil, PHD and MD students).
In addition the PGR toolbox includes a range of information and links relevant to PGRs, the latest PGR News blog and Twitter.
Login in at https://liverpool-life.liv.ac.uk/ using your Student ID number and PIN.
*To access your records for 2011-2012 and previous years, see below.
The Record of Supervisory meetings feed into the Annual Progress Reports that are completed in June and are managed by the PGR Student Team.
The diagram on the right represents a time-line for the whole procedure, to show how the Record of Supervisory meetings (formal meetings) and PGR Portfolio of Activity feed into the Annual Progress Reports that proceed over June-August of each year.
Module code: The yearly completion of the requirements is listed in Liverpool Life under the code, 'PDRR PGR Portfolio of Activity', (enrolment is automatic), and the credits are awarded for the activities recorded each year in the PGR Portfolio of Activity.
Your PDR meetings and your record of generic training activities made in the PDR prior to June 2012 have been stored in Lusid. Access to these record is no longer directly possible, but can only be made through a request to CSD.
