I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2016 with a BSc in Forensic Science. Prior to my final year of undergraduate, I completed an industry sandwich placement at Actavis Biologics. During my placement, I was part of the protein characterisation team within the analytical department where I worked on LC-MS based methods.

Following on from my undergraduate degree, I completed an MRes in Biomedical Sciences & Translational Medicine at the University of Liverpool. During my MRes, my research projects focused on drug-induced cardio toxicity within the pharmacology department.

In October 2017, I joined the CPR on a PhD funded by the MRC DiMeN DTP. My project will be focusing on the structural factors that influence how protein kinases interact with different classes of drugs, which will be carried out using native MS and X-ray crystallography approaches.
