Peptide mapping tool [DOWNLOAD]

A simple stand alone Windows program that aids in the preparation of  maps of proteolytic digests of proteins. This is a presentation tool, and generates SVG files. SVG files (Scalable Vector Graphics) are viewable, but not editable, with the free SVG plug-in for your browser.

However, to do anything remotely complicated with the maps, you will need an SVG-compliant graphics editor. A commercial possibility is Adobe Illustrator (later versions). A new and rather impressive, free, openSource SVG Editor that handles the peptide maps rather well is Inkscape
