Waters Xevo Triple Quadrupole
The Xevo QqQ, installed in late 2009, is our most sensitive instrument. With appropriately designed assays, based on clean single reaction monitoring transitions, it is possible to reach sensitivities of the order of 10 attomol on column. It is supported by nanoflow solvent delivery (300nL/minute) through a nanoAcquity system.

Waters Synapt G2 Ion mobility Q-ToF
The Synapt G2, installed in August 2010 is the latest intrument to be installed in the instrumentation suite. It combined high resolution QToF performance with the added dimension of ion mobility separation. The recent development of HDMS^E, in which precursors are mobility-resolved over a 30msec 'mobilogram' means that even more ions can be confidently identified.

Thermo Velos Orbitrap
The Velos-Orbitrap is predominantly used for discovery proteomics and SILAC analyses. Thermo Scientific* LTQ Orbitrap Velos provides ultra-high resolution and accurate mass for confident structural elucidation powered by Orbitrap technology. The LTQ Orbitrap Velos combines the industry-leading Orbitrap mass analyzer, a new Higher-Energy Collisional Dissociation (HCD) cell and the new LTQ Velos, the world's fastest and most sensitive ion trap mass spectrometer, to routinely deliver ultra-high resolution and accurate mass data. It is supported by nanoflow solvent delivery (300nL/minute) through a nanoAcquity system.
