Title of Research Project:  Attachment, pain catastrophising, and coping strategies in Fibromyalgia

Researcher(s): Juliette Allen, Dr Nick Fallon, Dr Andreas Goebel

Hello,

This is an invitation to take part in research about influences on the impact of Fibromyalgia. The research is interested in attachment styles, which are developed in early life and may lead to different health thoughts, behaviours and traits. The study is also looking at the pathways and difficulties involved with receiving a Fibromyalgia diagnosis to help remove barriers and improve the process. You will be asked to complete a survey about your experience with receiving a diagnosis as well as four short questionnaires. The research should take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete.

To thank you for your time, every 50 participants will be entered in a prize draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher.

This research has an exclusion criterion towards those who have not received a Fibromyalgia diagnosis or cannot speak fluent English.

Thank you for your time and participation in advance
