Do you want to change lives through research? Please see Crohn's & Colitis statement below

Our Crohn's & Colitis mission is to drive pioneering research. We believe that high quality research into Crohn's and Colitis can only happen with the involvement of people affected by the conditions.

We want to involve as many people as possible in all aspects of research. By funding and partnering in research projects, we aim to make a real impact - the best research happens when researchers work according to what matters to people. To help bring this about, we work with our Research Champions, people living with Crohn’s or Colitis, who input their experiences and represent people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis in our partnerships with researchers across the UK.

The role of a Research Champion is to be part of a research project, attending meetings, sharing their own views and experiences, as well as representing the Crohn’s and Colitis community. This is a real opportunity to tell the researchers what matters to people with Crohn’s and Colitis, and make sure that the research works for those living with the conditions. We meet regularly with our Research Champions to keep up to date with the projects, share learning between projects and to share insight from our work. Research Champions also support us in raising awareness of research, how to get involved and why they enjoy taking part.
