Versus Arthritis Pain Research in the UK Conference 2020 Wednesday 9th September 2020 Jubilee Conference Centre Nottingham

After the success of last years Versus Arthritis: Pain Research in the UK Conference VA are delighted  to host a 2nd Versus Arthritis: Pain Research in the UK Conference 2020 which will take place on 9th September 2020 in Nottingham at the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Conference Centre, Jubilee Campus.

Due to the rapid changing regulations for social distancing, and to ensure the health and safety of all our delegates, we have redesigned the format of the meeting to allow people to attend either in person (social distancing measures dependent) or virtually. We will ensure the format of the meeting enables those wishing to take advantage of virtual attendance to participate in all aspects of the event. We will make a final decision as to whether the meeting will be held only virtually by the end of July 2020.

The conference will bring together UK clinical and preclinical researchers in musculoskeletal and other forms of chronic pain. The day will combine elevator and poster presentations. The second half of the day will start with a plenary presentation by Professor Andrew Rice of Imperial College London on the translational validity of animal models, to be followed by parallel workshops based around the interests of delegates.
If you would like to present, please provide your proposed title including if you wish to present an elevator pitch or poster presentation, ensuring your work can be presented in a virtual version should this be necessary. Please submit this information no later than 1st July 2020.
