Ok... so were not in the USA but we like to share some of their initiatives especially when theyre as good as National Bubble Bath day!!

A bubble bath is the original hydrotherapy water treatment. Immersion, buoyancy, heat and vibration (if you have jets) all have useful biological and sensory effcets, many of which are useful to people with injuries, pain, anxiety, depression and more.

A few tips to help you get the most out of your bath time are:

  • Go warm, not hot... if you have cardiovascular problems, beware of water thats too hot because it can put stress on the heart
  • Dont just sit there.. Water stimulates blood flow to stiff muscles and frozen joints
  • Add some salts...data shows that not enough of us are getting enough magnesium and adding some epsom salts can help remedy this
  • Consider finding a warm water pool... yes its like a bath but with so much more room to fully move around and help ease the pain and stiffness of conditions such as arthritis can be very helpful
