King Lear in Brooklyn: reading, discussion and Q & A with Michael Pennington

Following on from last year’s sell-out Sweet William performance, renowned Shakespearian actor Michael Pennington returns again to Liverpool to read from his latest book, King Lear in Brooklyn. Described by Sir Kenneth Branagh as “a great actor and a great writer about actors and acting” Michael takes a fascinating journey through King Lear from the perspective of the characters. BOOK NOW

You will be invited to join us for a drinks reception following the performance where Michael will be attending a book signing with Blackwells bookshop.

This is a sneak peek at what’s in store in October, during our Liverpool Literary Festival presents series. The full line-up will be announced soon. For more information CLICK HERE
