BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy

Course overview

By completing our undergraduate course you'll be fully qualified as an occupational therapist. You'll have learned to practise within a range of settings, with professionals from a range of healthcare disciplines.

60% of your Degree studies will be University-based, with the remainder taken up with 6 separate placements throughout the 3 years. Additionally you can attend up to 12 'taster' days in year one, to experience different settings.

At the University and on placement, you'll be taught by highly experienced occupational therapists who've been trained as educators. We'll coordinate your academic study and placements too, so theory links to practice.

You'll also benefit from the latest teaching and learning methods, plenty of small group work and a good support network including a personal tutor.

Assessment is through course work, written assignments, presentations, exams and your practice placements.
