We are seeking to recruit an individual who will provide technical assistance to UKIERI project, undertaking many of the practical aspects, as well as providing an effective and efficient technical service for the UKIERI and associated LOORG projects. The post will involve travel to India with undertaking knowledge exchange between the collaborating partners.
You will be experienced in working in a multiuser/multifunctional bioscience laboratory and be able to carry out a wide range of standard laboratory experiments/procedures. You should be qualified to BTEC Higher level (or equivalent) with experience of training others in the use of laboratory equipment and techniques, relevant laboratory experience and the ability to take ownership and monitor maintenance of equipment in the laboratory. The post will involve some travel to India for short-term stays to enable knowledge exchange between the collaborating partners. The hours of work will be 28 per week by arrangement. The post is available until 30 September 2020.
